Hi, everyone. This GoFundMe has been created on behalf of Evan Surratt, a brave and resilient individual facing her third extensive open-heart surgery.

After enduring two previous open-heart surgeries last year, Evan is now preparing for yet another complex and life-threatening surgery. Due to the high-risk nature of this surgery, she is traveling out of state to Florida to be treated by a specialized cardiac surgeon with the expertise in connective tissue disorders and complex aortic surgeries to give her the best chance at a healthy future. Evan will have surgery 12/10 at UF Health Heart & Vascular Hospital where she will have a new aortic valve placed and new aortic root, including potential bypass procedures.

This fund is being raised to help cover the significant costs associated with this urgent medical journey, including:

    •    Lodging and food for family members who will be staying nearby to support Evan throughout the surgery and recovery
