Donate to Eron's Kidney Transplant and Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Eron, and I’m on a life-saving journey to find a living kidney donor. I was born in the Philippines and raised in the Bay Area, just outside of San Francisco. I now live in Las Vegas, Nevada, with my incredible wife, Catherine. We just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary—something I’m deeply thankful for.
What Happened to Me
Last year, everything changed. What started as back pain and cold sweats quickly turned into something much more serious. After some tests, I was diagnosed with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD)—my kidneys were failing, and I had to begin dialysis immediately. It turned my world upside down. Before this diagnosis, I was working my dream job as a bar and beverage manager. I loved creating memorable experiences for people—it never felt like work. But dialysis has made it impossible for me to continue. Not being able to do what I love—or provide for my family—has been heartbreaking.
Why I’m Asking for Help
I’m reaching out with humility and hope. I need help not only to find a living kidney donor but also to raise funds for:
• Medical expenses (not all transplant costs are covered)
• Lodging and meals during recovery
• Transportation for treatments and appointments
• Basic living expenses as I remain out of work during this time
Any donation—big or small—means the world to me and my family. My wife will be out of work for about 2-3 months. And her work can only cover up to 2 weeks of paid FMLA. Then after that it will be unpaid FMLA. Which is why we need to cover our expenses for bills and everyday expenses as well. Every bit of support brings me closer to a new kidney and a chance to live fully again.
How a Kidney Would Change My Life
A transplant would give me back the freedom to be present for the people I love. I want to help my wife, take my nieces and nephews to school, celebrate milestones, and be there for every laugh, every hug, every graduation. I’m only 44 years old. I still have so much life to live—and so much to give. If you or someone you know is open to learning more about becoming a kidney donor, please reach out. You don’t have to be a match to help—just sharing this page could save my life.
With love and gratitude,
