Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I am reaching out to you today to ask for your help in supporting my brother Erik during this incredibly difficult time.

Just a few short weeks ago, Erik was suddenly diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma, along with several other infectious diseases. He is currently fighting for his life in the hospital, battling not only cancer but also various infections, pneumonia, thrush, fevers, and other chronic conditions.

Erik is a beloved son, brother, and uncle. Known for his infectious laugh and his willingness to always lend a helping hand. He is a hard worker who never hesitates to put others before himself. Growing up in Minooka, Illinois, Erik is a proud graduate of Minooka High School and a cherished member of our community.

Erik has been part of the Waveland Bowl family for almost 20 years as an integral part of daily operations. He oversees everything ranging from facilities management to managing the counter on the busiest night of the week.

Erik is beloved by coworkers and guests alike. He is well known for his good nature, quick wit, vast knowledge of technology and willingness to share his wealth of knowledge.

The financial strain of Erik's illness has been overwhelming for our family. With Erik unable to work and facing mounting medical bills, on top of the costs of gas and accommodations for our daily trips to be by his side, we are struggling to make ends meet. We are asking for your support to help alleviate some of this burden and allow Erik to focus on his recovery without the added stress of financial worries.
