We’re reaching out on behalf of Erick Soares, a devoted husband, loving father, and an incredibly smart, multitasking, and talented working man who is currently facing one of the most difficult challenges of his life.

Just days ago, Erick underwent a highly complex spine fusion surgery. While the procedure was successful, his recovery will take anywhere from 3 to 6 months, during which time he will be completely unable to work.

Erick is the primary provider for our beautiful family—his wife Laryssa, our 13-year-old son Gustavo, and our 5-year-old daughter Maria. With Erick unable to work, our household has been thrown into deep financial stress. We’re now struggling to cover basic living expenses such as rent, groceries, utilities, and medical bills.

Recovery from spinal surgery is both physically and emotionally exhausting. Erick is doing everything he can to get back on his feet, including physical therapy and consistent medical care. But this journey will take time—and it’s one that no family should have to face alone or under the burden of financial fear.

We’re asking for your kindness and support during this time of hardship. Every donation—no matter how small—will go directly toward helping Erick and our family pay for:
