In May 2023 I was diagnosed with Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma and have had quite a journey since. I’ve completed 45 rounds of chemotherapy, 28 rounds of radiation and have had Whipple Surgery. After my surgery they thought I was cancer free pending the results of the final pathology report. When received they found a second and aggressive form of cancer called neoendicrine in addition to the original pancreatic adenocarcinoma. I also had an PET Scan and the cancer spread to my liver with 8 tumors. I immediately started chemotherapy treatment for the neoendicrine cancer. At my next CAT scan the tumors only grew slightly but didn’t shrink. They switched me to chemotherapy for the original adenocarcinoma and I’ve had 2 rounds so far. I had 2 delays since I needed a blood transfusion and also when my platelets were too low. My doctor put doing 10 rounds of radiation blasts back on the table. I’m starting this fundraiser to help with mounting medical expenses, transportation to treatment, appointments and to the hospital which just happened twice due to fevers. I can no longer afford transportation to appointments due to bills and need help covering these expenses in addition to living expenses. For the last 2 months I have barely been able to drive to get necessities and have had to use alternate transportation. I currently have just over $250 in my bank account and am out of options at this point and need help. If you can please donate so I can cover the expenses of getting to my appointments, the hospital and the grocery store. I truly appreciate the help as I navigate this debilitating disease. Many thanks!
