Donate to Ensure Essential Care for a Loving Daughter
Donation protected
I didn’t imagine I’d be in a position to ask for help, but here I am — a working single mom doing everything I can to stay afloat. I’ve been working tirelessly to rebuild my career as a mental health professional, trying to do what’s “right” for my family and my future. I’m growing my private practice part-time while also working a second job that fits around my daughter’s school and therapy schedule. But with limited financial support and my savings now depleted, I’m facing a challenge I simply can’t overcome alone.
My daughter was born with an enamel condition that has weakened some of her teeth since infancy, which she now needs a medically necessary procedure to restore her oral health and prevent further permanent damage. Due to her sensory processing disorder, anesthesia isn’t just preferred, it’s essential. Without it, the only alternative would involve physical restraint over the course of 4 appointments, which would be traumatic and harmful for her.
While insurance covers some of the procedure itself, it does not cover the anesthesia and full costs of treatment. Unfortunately, there’s no payment plan available. The full cost of anesthesia (pic below) must be paid upfront before we can even schedule the appointment. All donations will be going to medical/dental costs. I’ve exhausted every option I can think of, and now I’m turning to my community for help.
This past year has been incredibly difficult for so many of us, and I truly hate having to ask. But if you’re able to contribute anything, even just a few dollars, it would mean the world to me and my daughter. Thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting us in any way you can.
