Enrique "Kique" Gomez has spent his entire life caring for others. As a home health caregiver, he has dedicated his career to helping the elderly live with dignity and comfort. At home, he has been the heart of our family. He lovingly cared for our sister through her battles with multiple sclerosis and breast cancer, and he stood by our mother's side during her struggles with breast and colon cancer.

Now, Enrique is facing his own challenge: stage 2b colon cancer. His doctors are optimistic about a cure, but he needs treatment right away, starting with the placement of an IV port for chemotherapy. Unfortunately, the hospitals require a high out-of-pocket deductible to be paid.

Enrique has spent his life lifting up others, and now it's our turn to lift him up. He has given so much of himself to care for his family and community, and we want to ensure he gets the care he needs to heal.
