Help Us Enrich the Lives of Local Kids & Support Our Afterschool Program
Children deserve a safe, joyful, and inspiring space to grow and that’s exactly what our afterschool program provides for kids ages 6 to 12 right here in our community. From helping with homework to sparking creativity through games, activities, and learning experiences, we aim to nurture not just minds, but hearts.
We’re raising funds to expand and enhance our offerings, ensuring every child has access to resources that help them succeed in and out of the classroom. Your donations will go toward:
- Educational Resources: books, STEM kits, art supplies, and tools that foster curiosity and inspire learning.
- Enrichment Activities: chess, music, coding, and other programs that open doors to new skills and possibilities.
- Recreational Equipment: hockey tables, games, and a “Cozy Corner” where kids can relax, read, and recharge.
- Fulfilling Our DOE & OCFS Agreements: Ensuring we meet Department of Education requirements so our program remains a trusted, recognized space for learning.
For many of these children, our afterschool program is one of the few opportunities they have to engage in structured, high-quality educational activities outside of school. It’s a place where they can explore their passions, build confidence, and know they are valued.
To help raise funds, we are hosting a Pop-Up Shop on Saturday, August 16th, from 12–4 PM at 756 Myrtle Ave. This event is both a celebration of our community and a call to action! Share our gofundme with your community & share the graphic attached below to your socials!
