Hello Friends!

This year, I will be teaching at Eastern Pines Preschool where I will be one of the Pre-K teachers.

My teaching philosophy is all about fostering independence and creativity through hands-on, student-led learning. Through my time spent as a clinical lead teacher at the Nancy Darden Child Development Center at ECU, I practiced under the Montessori & Reggio Emilia philosophy and still use those philosophies in my classroom.

In order to grow and adapt a new generation of learners and foster creativity, engineering, and independent thinking, I always try to create as many opportunities for open-ended creative play through STEAM initiatives.

Through this GoFundMe request, it is my hope to create a space in my classroom where child-safe tools and resources are used to design, construct, and create.
