Hi, I'm Doug Heckman, and I'm raising funds for Veteran Coalition International - again, an organization dedicated to supporting brave veterans and their families around the world. We went last August and many of you helped. I am asking you to participate with me in our next adventure. In a few weeks,, my brother Jeff, my West Point roommate Dan Ragsdale and I are going to Kyiv, Ukraine to show our support. Another West Point classmate Sam Hartwell lives in Kyiv. He will organize our trip. Sam is an amazing and brave man! Another classmate, Mark Paslawsky is buried there. He was killed in the first days of the War. The Ukrainian veterans desperately need our support. I have asked Sam how we can help. He responded that we could fund several medical items to aide in the rehabilitation of injured Ukrainian veterans. Items such as special medical kits, electric scooters, handheld ultrasound units, and other electronic items that can not be sourced in Ukraine.

The picture is of Sam and I at Paz's grave in Kyiv. He is buried in a graveyard where the Ukrainian national heroes are sent.

We will only be in-country for several days and will take appropriate safety precautions. Additionally, the funds will go towards the medical items and not for travel expenses. Thank you for your support.
