At St. Martin Lutheran School for the Deaf, we offer a wide range of academic programs designed to meet the spiritual, academic, and social needs of our students. We are the only Lutheran elementary school in Michigan dedicated to providing a Christ-centered Deaf Education.

Our Christ-centered Classical Education curriculum provides a strong foundation in all subject areas including learning more about our Lutheran faith. In addition to these core subjects, our students mainstream with an interpreter for special classes including Gym, STEM, Art, and Music. Plus, our deaf students interact daily with the hearing students in Emmanuel Lutheran Church and School in Dearborn, MIchigan. While we are uniquely Lutheran, our school offers an affordable tuition based classical education to all students in Preschool through Eighth Grade.

Sadly, This summer, we received difficult news: Ephphatha Lutheran Mission Society (ELMS),the faithful organization that founded and supported St. Martin will no longer be able to provide funding after this year. While Emmanuel Lutheran Church and School remain committed to our Deaf Education Ministry, we cannot continue this important work without your partnership.
