Hi, my name is J and I’m a 16-year-old 10th-grade student excited to begin dual enrollment at Florida SouthWestern State College this spring. This opportunity will allow me to get a head start on my college education, but I’m facing a significant obstacle: reliable transportation.
Without access to a vehicle, attending classes and pursuing a part-time job to support myself will be extremely challenging and a barrier to my success. My family relies on a single income from my disabled Mom who does so much for me already, but unfortunately she has had to take on 100 % of financial responsibility with no additional help. Therefore, I’m unable to afford a reliable car at this time and I'm asking for your help.

Reliable transportation will enable me to attend my dual enrollment classes for college while still being enrolled in high school, work part-time, and take steps toward a brighter future.
