Hi, I’m Coach Padilla, dad, mentor, and founder of Firecrackers Padilla, a brand-new 501(c)(3) girls’ softball nonprofit in Orange County, CA. We started with one 8U travel team and a dream: every girl—from 8 to 18 years old—deserves a safe, fun, empowering place to swing, run, and shine.

But right now?

We’re sharing 6 softballs between 65 kids.

Our bats are duct-taped.

We practice on dirt patches because field rentals cost $369/month.

And every time we dream bigger. Sandlot games, Daddy-Daughter Dances, monthly Kids Dance Parties, Home Run Derbies—we hit the same wall: no gear, no fences, no canopy to shade our families.
