​Hi, friends and community members.

​My name is Janice Eakin, and I'm a supporter of Blessings of Hope Empowerment Outreach. This incredible group of volunteers, which I first learned about through Anissa Butler, makes a daily difference right here in Havana. They provide everything from clothing for our neighbors to fans for those without air conditioning.

​I've seen firsthand the power of our community's support. Recently, Blessings of Hope held their 6th annual fan drive, and, thanks to all of you, they collected 123 fans and raised $680 to purchase more! It was truly heartwarming to see the community rally together.

​Now, Blessings of Hope's mission is expanding. Fourteen volunteers are dedicating their time to get certified in CPR and AED. This training is invaluable—it's a skill that can save a life in an emergency. The more people in our community who are trained, the safer we all are.

The cost of the training is $600. ​Please consider donating $10, $25, or any amount you can to help support this essential training.
