My name is Aubrey, I was diagnosed with dysautonomia/POTS, hEDS, and had a previous NET tumor in the appendix. I am raising money to help fund a service dog, which would help me live more freely. A service animal is quite costly I would need to save up for the puppy, food, training supplies, training gear, etc. The service dog would be a cardiac alert dog which would help with fainting alerts, high heart rate alerts, high and low blood pressure alerts, picking up items, wheelchair pulling, opening doors, deep pressure therapy, emotional support, crowd buffering, etc. After heavy research for a couple years now I’ve heavily considered the pros and cons of having and training a service animal. Not only will I be able to live more freely as I would not need to worry about hitting my head from fainting, but it would increase my freedom to do things independently. I would be very grateful for any donations!
