Early November, our sweet girl Emma was in a devastating motorcycle accident, leaving her in the icu. She has had over 20 surgeries on various parts of her body. Unfortunately, Emma lost one of her legs along with fighting an infection, has lost a kidney, her spleen, a lacerated liver, had suffered a stroke, might be unable to move one side of her body, and endured a traumatic brain injury. But Emma is a fighter and has overcome these last couple months in the hospital. She is now out of icu and in the ccu! The nurses have all expressed how Emma is a fighter and a young strong woman. She will soon be sent to a rehabilitation center for them to help her learn how to do things in her new situation.
Emma is an amazing daughter and little sister, who puts her family before herself. If you have been lucky enough to know Emma, in any way, you know she is always wanting to make others smile and laugh. She has an adventurous and amazing view of life! She is stubborn, in all the best ways. Truly a one of a kind heart and soul. Emma is a very strong, independent, and beautiful young woman who loves being with friends and spending time outdoors watching the sunset. She loves and cares for others so deeply that you can’t help but gravitate towards her and her empathetic personality. Emma works at Albertsons in Huntington Beach, and her customers often describe her as silly, sweet, and a hard working individual. Many have said there is something special about Emma. To her coworkers she is more than a friend, she is like a daughter, a little sister, she is family. We know that if anyone could overcome something like this, it would be Emma.
She will not let this accident stop her from achieving such wonderful things in life!
We are trying to raise money to help lift a burden from her and her families life in this difficult time.
We are reaching out to you, her friends, family, and community. Your support and generosity would be greatly appreciated as anything helps!
Thank you all very much.
