The recent fires all over LA County have profoundly affected many members of our community, and particularly two devoted educators, Sean and Liria, from El Monte High School (EMHS). Sean and Liria lost their home and their belongings in this disaster. They have been the backbone of EMHS for many years, teaching and mentoring students, guiding them toward a brighter future.
