A lot of you know our daughter, Ember, and some of you may also know she was born with a rare liver disease called biliary atresia. If you ever met her, you’d have a hard time believing anything was wrong with her: She‘s a sassy, laughing, jumping, friendly, donut-eating ray of sunshine.

Although she may look perfectly fine, due to her disease, she’s now had multiple internal bleeds and now requires a liver transplant. We have been blessed to receive the news that they have found a living donor, and set her transplant date to May 21st! Due to the uncertainty of Ember’s status, they had us relocate to New Orleans until her transplant date and we must remain here 3+ months after so they can keep a close eye on her.

Because of the short time frame we have been given to prepare, we will be fundraising and accepting donations to go towards her recovery, relocation, and bills that accumulate during this lengthy recovery process.

Although this will be a lifelong endeavor for our family, we appreciate all donations, prayers, well wishes, and fundraising efforts.
