Hello!

Our names are Armand Camaioni, Mark Virgen, and Andres Altamirano. We are a team of filmmakers from Los Angeles.

The Story

Logline: The open wounds of a couple's past bleed all over their present and threaten to drown them.

Embedded In the confines of a strained relationship, partners Drew and Theo, search for ways to ignite their burning flame. What was meant to aid their relationship strips it down to the bare bones. They show their true colors and beat you over the side of the head. But even after all the abuse it’s easier to stay with the devil you know instead of going the world alone.

Why this film?

We chose Embedded because the relationship between Drew and Theo has depth to it. We believe our audience will be able to connect with Drew and Theo because of how intense and personal their relationship is. They have a deep misunderstanding of what makes them happy and they think they’re going to find it in each other.

Influences

Inspiration for our film comes from several compelling projects. Such as the deeply moving My Own Private Idaho. Or the chilling display of manipulation and deceit in Dahmer. As well as the use of exploitation in The White Lotus.
