Hi, my name is Ellarose Manlapaz, and I’m fighting a rare and aggressive cancer called Small Cell Neuroendocrine Carcinoma of the Cervix.
It has metastasized to my lungs, liver, abdomen, and bones, causing unbearable pain every day.
I am a wife to Michael, and a mother of five loving children who mean the world to me. Every day, I pray for more time with them — to laugh, to walk beside them, and to watch them grow.
Our Journey
My battle began with hope that treatment would stop the cancer. But after several procedures and tests — even sending my tumor slides to Boston — the results came back with devastating news: there is currently no known cure for my specific cancer type.
Despite this, we refuse to give up.
I continue to undergo radiation therapy to help ease the severe pain caused by the tumors on my bones and spine. I am also preparing for immunotherapy, which may help slow down the spread of the cancer and give me a better quality of life.
But the cost of my treatments, medicines, and hospitalizations has been overwhelming — averaging ₱150,000 or more per month, and that’s without doctors’ fees.
Why We’re Asking for Help
Our savings are gone, and every hospital stay adds to the mountain of bills we are trying to manage. I want to live not just to survive — but to be able to walk again without pain, to go to the beach with my family, and to spend every moment with love and dignity.
Your donation will go directly to:
Radiation and immunotherapy sessions
Hospital bills and medical procedures
Pain management and medicines not covered by assistance programs
