As you all know, Elijah was diagnosed with a terminal illness and a rare genetic disease called Hypomalinating Leukodystrophy 15. Basically, it is a white matter brain disease. There are no specialists here in Colorado. None of his providers had even heard of it. We will be traveling to Philadelphia which is 1,728 miles away where the specialists are at the top Children's hospital in the United States.
