Hello everyone,
My name is Czarina Runatay, and I’m the founder of El Youth Initiative, a Filipino youth-led nonprofit organization originally created five years ago after a typhoon devastated Cagayan. Back then, my friends and I came together—just a group of young people who wanted to make a difference.
Today, we’re relaunching El Youth Initiative to help our own hometown of La Union, which was recently hit by Typhoon Emong. Many families have lost their homes, belongings, and access to basic needs.
Although I’m currently based in the United States, I’m organizing this GoFundMe to support the on-the-ground relief efforts being led by my co-founders and friends in the Philippines.
We’re hoping to raise $2,000 to provide:
- Food packs, clean water, hygiene kits, and other essential relief items
- Transportation and logistics to reach remote and underserved communities
- Supplies for the youth volunteers working day and night to deliver aid
All funds will go directly to Elyouth Initiative’s local operations in the Philippines. Every donation—no matter the amount—makes a real impact.
