Hello and blessings to all animal lovers out there! My name is Shirley and I have a friend who is trying to build an animal sanctuary in Uganda. His name is Eddy Nandala. He is helped by his younger siblings and his mother! Eddy works in the city as much as possible but carries a huge burden being the only supporter of his family and animals. Eddy is trying to save and buy a larger piece of land and start a registered animal sanctuary! He also supports local village needs as well.

Eddy, like the rest of us, is struggling to keep over 45 cats and themselves fed, housed, and medically taken care of. I have personally spent time with them on the phone and on FaceTime, and they are wonderful people, doing wonderful things, in very difficult times. Food, water, and vet services must be paid weekly, and paychecks are not making it like they used to. Every little penny counts as we work toward the ultimate goal of $15,000 to buy land, pay the bills, get caught up, and build "Hope for Stray Pets Sanctuary." The start of a better future for everyone around him, not just him. Land will give him the opportunity to farm food his family needs, feed his animals, and support local lives. So please join me in his journey and help me... help them!

But right now we are worried about the needs day to day.
