Help Wayne’s Children Lay Him To Rest

Update: Wayne Edgin passed away today, Friday, July 26th at 5:29 pm. His eldest daughter Alisha was standing right by his side. His youngest daughter Michaela held him in her arms as his heart stopped. We are asking for donation to help cover the costs of laying our father to rest, and settling any outstanding debt that may have accumulated during his hospitalization. We plan on having a celebration of life held in Hico, Texas, in a community that he loved and he was loved by. The date is to be decided. Our father was the life of the party. A wild child at heart yet an extremely dedicated Police Officer and a damn good father. He will be very dearly missed. We will carry on his legacy. Thank you to everyone who has donated. Hello, my name is Michaela Reneé Edgin, I’m Wayne’s youngest daughter. For a few weeks now my father has been in the hospital with a slew of issues, acute kidney injury, gout, and now what we discovered were two small strokes. He went into cardiac arrest this morning and is now currently in the ICU. I started this GoFundMe to help settle some of my dad‘s bills while he’s been in the hospital. He has rent and car payments that are past due because of the situation and I just wanted to make sure that all of that got taken care of for him. I truly need prayers more than anything. I’m not ready to lose my dad, he’s a huge part of my heart. I’m absolutely devastated that any of this is real and happening. If you have the means, please donate so that we may settle his debts so that if he makes it out of this he can come home stress-free. Thank you all.
