Donate to Ease the Burden of Cancer Care
I am a caregiver struggling financially while my husband has had Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma since 2020, Stage 3 Indolent. He tried working part-time at Lowe's in 2023, but the day after Lowe's received his FMLA paperwork from his medical provider, he was fired. While, very fortunately curable, at least temporarily, he receives chemo every three weeks. His cancer is still stage 3 because it has NOT spread to any vital organs, yet. The ANGRY node his oncologist is trying to kill is his right ancillary (armpit). What is killing us financially are those specialized blood draws. On chemo weeks...2-3 draws. Off chemo weeks...1-2 per week depending on his results, which of course, he is required to wait for. $75 per test!!!!!!!! In a good month....$725!!! Local grants allow us some assistance, but they need proof of payment before we can be reimbursed. We can't afford to pay those bills to get any grant money. We are struggling to pay our property taxes, so any little morsel will be greatly appreciated.
We don't need astronomical amounts of money...just enough to get ahead a bit.
Can't thank you enough for any little morsel that you can provide ❤️
