The young man pictured here is my son, Terry Millien Jr. He is our middle child, having an older and younger sister. After graduating college and marrying his college sweetheart, he rejoiced in marriage bliss for just five years before hearing those three dreaded words, "You have cancer." He was 27 years old when he was diagnosed with colon cancer-stage 4. He went through 2 surgeries, and chemotherapy for 6 months each time the cancer came back, and had now beaten cancer 4 times since 2020. Due to the cancer spreading to his liver and now lymph nodes, he needs lifelong chemo treatments to keep the cancer in check till a cure can be found. He is on partial disability due to the constant chemo and stress the treatments put on him physically. He is wiped out during the treatments and is practically bed-ridden for a week per each treatment. He, his wife , and their three young children live a very simple life. He made 33 in 2025 and works part-time at a local library, and his wife stays at home to take care of him, the children, and homeschooling. When something major happens, like automotive issues, or A/C or heating malfunction, or even just the rise in grocery prices, those bills throw a huge kink in their budget. Not to mention the stress it causes. And that is one thing he does not need as a cancer patient. I would love to see them have a "cushion" for those type of emergency needs. That is what this page is being set up to accomplish.
