I'm reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Tamara, who is facing an incredibly tough battle with blood cancer. This illness has caused her white blood cells to form small tumors all along her spine and on several organs, leading to intense pain and immense challenges.

She has came far in her fight with blood cancer but, now she faces another battle. The doctors have discovered with her PET Scan and MRI that Tamara now has a lesion on her liver. Ultrasound is scheduled for this week and biopsy for the following week.

Tamara is one of the most hardworking and selfless people I know. Alongside her regular job, she always finds time for her side gig to make a little extra money. At this time it’s very difficult for her to maintain her full time job. The exhaustion is overwhelming for her. She is always the first to offer help to others and always put others’ needs before her own. Now, she is the one in need, and I’m hoping we can rally around her and her husband, Michael.

Despite her strength and resilience, the medical bills are overwhelming. From ongoing treatments and hospital stays to everyday living expenses and prescription prices, the financial burden has become more than one person can handle alone.
