For as long as I can remember I’ve struggled with body dysmorphia. No matter how much confidence I show up with, there’s always been a disconnect between how I feel inside and what I see in the mirror. This surgery represents freedom - the chance to finally feel at home in my body and move through life without that constant weight.

Im scheduled for top surgery November 12th. Unfortunately my health insurance won’t be covering any of the costs, so I’ll be paying out of pocket. The total cost of the surgery is around $16,000, and while that’s a big number I’m only asking for help covering $5000 to lighten the load.

my job is physically demanding and recovery will require me to take at least 6 weeks off of work- time that’s necessary for healing but tough financially.

Any contribution, no matter the size will help ease the burden and bring me closer to the version of myself I worked so hard to become.
