Donate to Ease Steve and Kolleen's Financial Burden

My name is Jen Markey, and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my parents, Steve and Kolleen Thomas. In July, we received news that no one wants to, or is prepared to hear. Steve has been diagnosed with Advanced Renal Cell Carcinoma. Steve's illness is terminal. Since being diagnosed, Steve has kept a positive outlook, but the reality is grim. He is a small business owner and has not been able to take on nearly as much work that is needed to help support himself and his loving wife and caretaker, Kolleen.

I am reaching out for help from our friends, family, and community members so that they are able to maintain enough income to keep their everyday bills paid, as well as the mounting medical bills that are starting to flow in. Steve is receiving palliative care by means of immunotherapy, with hopes to improve the quality of life that he has left to live.
