I’m creating this fundraiser for my father, Scott Krone. He is an incredible, hard-working man. On December 16th, 2024 he was diagnosed with esophagus cancer. The day after, he had a feeding tube placed due to inability to swallow and stayed in the hospital for a week. Next week, he will begin chemotherapy and radiation, and eventually will have surgery.

My father is an independent contractor truck driver, which means if he’s not out on the road driving, he’s not getting paid. He has been unable to work for nearly a month, and he will be off work several months as he goes through cancer treatment. He has a week’s worth of unpaid hospital bills due to not having health insurance at the time of having to go into the hospital. Ideally we would also like to raise enough funds to help him be able to make the payment on his semi truck and his mortgage during the time of his cancer treatment.

He’s got a long fight ahead of him, but he will not be going through it alone. Any donations will be incredibly helpful in easing some weight off his shoulders. Thank you for any amount you can donate, and please share if you are unable to donate.
