Help Support Ruby’s Fight Against Breast Cancer & Her Family’s Next Chapter

Our dear friend Ruby was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (IDC), Grade 3—an aggressive form of breast cancer that requires immediate and comprehensive treatment.

While Ruby has health insurance, the reality is that even with coverage, the out-of-pocket costs for specialty appointments, imaging, biopsies, chemotherapy, surgery, reconstruction, and ongoing care are already piling up— in the time she had her mammogram to the diagnosis, she already owes upward of $6000 out of pocket, and this will continue to grow over the coming months.

On top of her cancer diagnosis, Ruby and her family are also preparing for a cross-country move from Texas to Michigan before the end of June. This move is essential to get closer to family support, especially as her husband is facing his own serious health challenges.
