Update: unfortunately the cancer has spread and become more aggressive and our mother Rosie has been moved to hospice care. The donations will now be going to help ease the brunt of that from now on.

Hello, this is Rosie’s daughter Jamie. Unfortunately my mom has had a very big life change recently. She has been diagnosed with stage three cervical cancer after years of pain and not knowing the cause. Her treatment plan has consisted of chemo, radiation and is currently waiting on surgery. We as a family have been taking this day by day, staying positive. While we’re very grateful my mom has insurance, unfortunately the medical bills and loss of wages has been growing exponentially since this all started. We still don’t know what’s to come after the surgery so we need to make sure we are prepared for anything. My stepdad Steve has been working two jobs and needs help. My mom has raised four children through some of the toughest conditions. Delia, myself, Haley and Zane just want our mom to be okay. Part of her being okay, comes with her not worrying about their current financial situation. Any dollar, any share and any words of kindness are truly appreciated. Her love for her children and family alike is some of the most fierce unwavering dedication I for one have ever seen. Her displays of kindness and empathy towards people she barely knows reinforces my idea that there’s still loving people out there and that hope is always there.”

I’m so proud of her for still being super strong even though this hard time, she means the world to me and will always be the #1 person I can count on for everything. I know my momma will get through this and will beat this terrible sickness and she will come back stronger than ever, I love you so much momma.”
