Hello Friends & Family. On Friday, July 11th, our world was turned upside down when my stepdad, Robert Oswald, suffered a heart attack. He was immediately transported to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he underwent an emergency triple bypass surgery. While the surgery was successful, Robert is now on a long road to recovery — one that is slow but steady, and we are deeply grateful for each small improvement he makes. My mother, Kristina Oswald, is by his side every step of the way. She is currently staying in a hotel near the hospital to remain close to him during this critical time. As a result of this sudden medical emergency, both of my parents are on an indefinite leave of absence from work. This situation has placed a significant financial strain on them, especially with the mounting medical bills, lodging, travel expenses, and the continued care Robert will need once he is able to return home to Lone Pine.
