- Hi, I’m Tesha and I have created this GoFundMe for my mom, Renee Kennemur. In 2020 mom suffered heart failure which lead her to stop smoking. Unfortunately, mom was recently diagnosed with stage 3 Adenocarcinoma Lung cancer. On April 7th, she will begin her 6 weeks of treatment. For 5 days a week, she will receive 1 day of chemo and 5 days of radiation, followed by 1 day a month (different treatment) for the following 12 months.
- She has Medicare, so we were informed today that she doesn’t qualify for the MD Anderson financial aid, and the resources they did provide have already closed their funding donations for the year. For someone who lives on a fixed income, this information is devastating and overwhelming. The last few weeks have consisted of costly tests and visits to confirm the cancer. Her treatments will be almost financially impossible for her to maintain. Please consider any amount in donations to assist with covering medical bills during this time.
