As many of you are aware, my sister Priscilla has been hospitalized since November 8, 2025, due to a persistent fever that prompted an emergency room visit. Following her admission, medical professionals discovered an infection in her blood, two brain aneurysms (one of which had ruptured), and abnormal venous formation on her spleen, as well as a torn heart valve. She immediately began receiving strong antibiotics intravenously. The initial surgery focused on repairing the ruptured brain aneurysm, followed by a procedure to address the venous issue in her spleen the next day. On November 21, doctors had planned to repair the second brain aneurysm; however, due to the efficacy of the antibiotics and supportive prayers, the aneurysm healed itself, eliminating the need for surgical intervention. She still requires heart surgery, which is currently scheduled for mid-January.

She is scheduled to be discharged on November 23rd. We are all excited for her to recover at home; however, she will still need to administer antibiotics via a PICC line and oral medication. Due to her compromised immune system, it will be challenging for her to work. As an orthodontist office employee, flu season poses additional risks, and doctors have advised her against interacting with patients during her recovery.

To ease the financial burden of bills, the holidays, and her daughter's birthday, I am requesting financial assistance. She will be taking time off work, and I want to ensure that her sole focus is on her recovery, without the added stress of financial concerns.
