As health has revealed itself as a true asset not to be taken for granted, I have been diagnosed with a critical illness that is chronic and will require an organ transplant. I have moved in with my mother and have been in and out of the hospital ER, and in-patient admission on 3 occurrences this month alone. My mom has exhausted all of her paid leave, and I am unable to work.
