This is Ms. Dee Mayer, my daughter's former amazing Kindergarten teacher and a wonderful woman! She was diagnosed with Uterine Cancer in 2021 and immediately had surgery to remove her Uterus and some lymph nodes. Then last summer, she noticed a mass in her abdomen while at the gym doing sit ups. After a biopsy, she was diagnosed with Sister Mary Joseph nodules on her umbilical cord, a very rare and aggressive cancer.

She immediately began a chemotherapy regimen with 3 strong chemos every 3 weeks. She lost her hair before the 2nd chemo. The side effects of bone & nerve pain have been troublesome for her along with "Chemo Brain."

So myself, and other parents who were lucky enough to have their children in her class or who know her personally want to help support her as she goes through this difficult time of fighting cancer.

Ms. Mayer has not been able to work much after her second surgery and now continued maintenance chemo until January 2026.

We created this GoFundMe to help her fight cancer without stressing over medical bills, house bills, and paying overpriced Cobra Insurance's monthly premiums.
