Lynda Carlin is a saint. She's one of the most selfless women we know. If you ask her who her family is, she'll tell you it's the customers she has know for a decade and the coworkers she has worked alongside for years. She always has a gift for the people around her, be it a bottle of wine, a chocolate treat, or a small token from her trips to Italy.
Lynda had a stroke in June of 2024. She's shown a grit and determination during her rehabilitation that has impressed the staff at her rehab facility. Unfortunately, she still has limited mobility on her left side and her vision has also been impacted. After six months of therapy, it's almost time for her to go home! While returning to her house will bring peace and rest that Lynda has been missing, it also brings a new set of challenges.
Lynda's needs are large and it's time for those of us that have received her generosity for years to return that kindness back to her. Any amount you can give helps! Here's a list of some of the items we are helping her purchase:
$200 for a bariatric walker
$300 for a living room chair without armrests
$1,000 for a new eye exam and custom contacts
$5,000 for converting her back door stairs to a wheelchair ramp
$18,000 for a handicap accessibility bathroom remodel
Every dollar you can give helps! A sacrifice as small as skipping a meal out can make the difference between a walker that is a challenge and one that gives Lynda significantly more comfort and ease of use. Enough of us making small or large sacrifices can easily overcome the obstacles that Lynda is currently facing. She's given all of us so much. It's time for us to shock her with how much we can return her love!
