We are reaching out with a heavy heart. On Monday, August 25, our beautiful sister, Joyce “Joy” Demonteverde-Moreno, suffered a hemorrhagic stroke and is now in critical care. This has come as a shock to all of us, and our world has been turned upside down.
Joy is not just a sister, a daughter, a friend—she’s a loving wife to Ernesto and an amazing mom to her sweet daughter Kymora. Right now, as Joy fights for her health, Ernesto is doing his best to hold things together, but he’s now the sole provider for their family, and the financial strain is becoming so overwhelming.
We are asking for your help to ease some of the burden they’re facing. Your donations—big or small—will go directly to:
• Replacing the lost income while Joy can’t work.
• Helping cover the medical costs and her ongoing care.
• Should the unthinkable happen, support would be available for funeral expenses.
• Ensuring Kymora has the support and resources she needs now and in the future.
No amount is too small—every little bit truly helps. I can’t tell you how much it would mean to us if you could contribute, share this with others, or even just keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. We’re so grateful for all of your love and support during this incredibly tough time.
Thanks for your support! You can also contribute via Zelle or in person.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us support Joy and her family.
