In Loving Memory of Joshua Rhyan Umberger
Dear Church Family and Friends,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved brother in Christ, Joshua Rhyan Umberger, who has gone home to be with the Lord after a courageous and faith-filled battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. While we grieve this profound loss, we also rejoice in the eternal life he has now received.
Joshua is survived by his devoted wife of 22 years, Michelle Renae Umberger, along with his cherished daughters, son, grandchildren, father, mother, brother, sons- and daughters-in-law, and a host of extended family, dear friends, and his brothers and sisters in Christ at his church home. His life was a testimony of love, faith, and quiet strength, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him.
As we mourn, we also seek to uphold and care for his family in a practical and loving way. We are humbly asking for donations to help ease the financial burdens they now face—both immediate and those to come. In this season of grief, we want to ensure that financial strain is the last thing on Michelle’s mind.
Let us be the Church in action: lifting this family up, surrounding them with our love, and shouldering this burden together. Please consider going above and beyond your regular giving—offering an extra measure of support and compassion to help lighten their load.
Every gift, no matter the size, is a blessing. May our giving be a reflection of Christ’s love and a tangible expression of the care we hold in our hearts.
We thank you in advance for your prayers, your generosity, and your love. May God bless you richly for being His hands and feet in this moment.
With love and gratitude,
Some Fellow Brothers and Sisters in Christ
