My name is Isabella, and I'm reaching out with a full heart on behalf of my amazing mom, JoLynn—you may know her as "Joey." She has recently been diagnosed with her second round of triple-negative breast cancer, an aggressive form that has now spread to her lungs and brain. It’s been a whirlwind of fear, strength, and hope, but through it all, my mom has remained the loving, courageous, strong woman we’ve always known her to be.

Just a short time ago, she underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor, and I’m so thankful to say it was successful. However, the road ahead is long, including rehabilitation to help her regain mobility in her left arm and leg, radiation to attack the remaining cancer in her brain, and ongoing chemotherapy for the cancer that is still in her breast and lungs. Because of ongoing mobility issues and the risk of seizures, she won’t be able to work or drive for the foreseeable future. The reality is that her life—and ours—has changed completely, and we need help to get through it.

I’ve started this GoFundMe to help ease some of the heavy financial burden my mom is facing. Your donations will go toward everything from everyday expenses and keeping up with bills to medical costs and ongoing palliative care. One of the most important things for her right now is minimizing stress so she can focus on healing, and every bit of support helps make that possible.
