I am Stephanie, a friend of Jessica’s. I am starting this fundraiser to help offset medical costs while she is recovering from some complications from surgery. Jessica made the brave decision to take control of her health and life with the help of gastric bypass. Surgery went as expected, but shortly after surgery things were not going as planned. On October 28th, Jessica was admitted and it was soon found that she has necrotizing pancreatitis believed to be caused by a leak from her surgery. She is currently in the hospital with the tentative plan to be discharged mid-November with home health. As of now she is being told she could be on TPN (intravenous nutrition to bypass her digestive system while it heals) for 60+ days. During this time she will be out of work. While she heals, it would be helpful for her to not have to worry about keeping up with general bills and medical bills. All funds will go to ease this burden for her.
