Cathy, Jean, and I have come together to support our friend, Hillary, as she lives with her new diagnosis of ALS. Our friend Hillary was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
in November 2025. This loyal and trustworthy friend of ours has worked tirelessly to raise her two children and maintain her simple lifestyle in Clinton, CT. Hillary is often the first to help those in need, and now she finds herself in need of our help. Her diagnosis has significantly impacted her speech and mobility which will impact her ability to work. She will have numerous incidental medical costs.
We are asking for donations to support Hillary at this time, and as she moves forward with this progressive disease.
In Hillary's words, "My name is Hillary Crane. I am 67 years old. I was just diagnosed with ALS and am in no financial position to quit work. I've raised two beautiful children single-handedly. I've managed to keep the same roof over our heads for 29 years. I have no particular skills other than to be annoying, but I consider myself loyal and trustworthy. With this diagnosis, I don't know how long I'll be able to work, as I can barely speak now. I live a simple life. Just looking to pay off my debt and pay my bills going forward without having to deal with that financial fear as I battle for my life. I am very grateful for the life I've lived, my family, and my dear friends. I am truly blessed, but I am also embarrassed to ask for help. Thank you for taking your time to read this. "
