What’s Happening

After four years of fighting cancer with incredible determination, she is recovering from yet another major surgery: her second hip and partial femur replacement. This time, the surgery was complicated by fractures in ribs weakened by tumors, creating unimaginable pain and difficulty in healing. Yet, through all this, she keeps fighting with grace, humor, and faith.

She’s managing this journey without the safety net many of us take for granted. She was denied disability, she hasn’t been able to work for years, and she faces mounting costs for travel to and from life-saving treatments—costs that insurance doesn’t cover.
