Bert Bennett Sr, age 79, was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer and will undergo a 6-week treatment plan which will require him and his daughter Helene, who will be his caretaker, to remain in Anchorage from mid-December to the end of January. They’ll be navigating the emotional, physical, and financial challenges of this medical crisis.
