Help Heidi beat cancer.

I am Heidi's sister and know she is a very proud person and asking for help is difficult.

For almost 3 years, Heidi has faced multiple challenges. In the fall of 2022, she had a mass on her thyroid and they removed it. The biopsy was sent and it was found with NO cancer. Afterward, she had a few minor medical issues related to the loss of the thyroid.

In February 2024, she had a house fire. She basically had to replace the kitchen and laundry room. Luckily, she and her puppies made it out safe, and she had a fire extinguisher.

This past April, she went to the ER for increasing stomach pain. A CT showed a mass and she was referred to GI. After a biopsy, she was told she had colon cancer and in May had 12 inches of the colon removed along with the mass and lymph nodes. A week later, she was told that the cancer was also in 3 of the lymph nodes...

This past week met with oncology.....

She has always fought hard to be independent but now it's a little different. She will have a difficult time working full-time for the next 6 months because of the treatment. They are planning on placement of a port on 25 June and will start chemo hopefully the following week. Chemo will be an infusion every 2 weeks for 6 months.
