He’s Strong But He’s Tired - Help Us Afford My Husband’s Kidney Stone Surgery

Hi, my name is Sky, and I’m reaching out during an incredibly difficult and emotional time for our little family.

Three weeks ago, my husband was rushed to the ER in unbearable pain. He was diagnosed with a large kidney stone that, at the time, we hoped would pass naturally. But since then, he’s had to return to the hospital two more times , each visit filled with pain, scans, and medications , only to learn that the stone is too large to pass on its own.

Now, surgery is the only option left. We’ve explored every possible alternative, called around, and asked all the questions , but even with insurance, the cost of this necessary surgery will be around $6000 at the end of it.

We weren’t prepared for this. We’re doing our best to hold it together, but this unexpected medical expense is more than we can manage. The longer the surgery is delayed, the more at risk his health becomes, and watching him suffer day after day is devastating.
