On November 17th, my grandmother was rushed to the emergency room due to a stroke. After several tests, it has been confirmed she has liver and brain cancer. As of now, the severity is unknown due to lack of testing. Unfortunately, my grandmother lives alone in New York, and my family is having to travel often to help assist in this stressful time. My family is grappling with unimaginable stress and mounting medical expenses as they fight for my grandmother's last days to try to keep her as long as we can. My family is drowning in at-home nursing expenses as well.
