Donate to Ease Emily's Cancer Fight and Care for Drew

Emily is a single mom who is facing an incredible challenging time.

She has been diagnosed with malignant melanoma which has spread into her lymph nodes. She had a large melanoma removed from her back recently but now needs to address the lymph nodes before it spreads even further. Emily is also immunocompromised with Crohn's Disease and both her cancer and Crohn's are being treated simultaneously, all while taking care of her son Drew, who has special needs. On Wednesday, August 28th she will start radiation.

Emily has been an independent contractor for the past few years and does not qualify for any disability programs. She is undergoing treatment and struggling to work and take care of Drew. The combined pressures of her illness and the demands of caring for Drew have become overwhelming.

We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate some of the financial burdens she faces and will give her a chance to rest and heal over the next few months and so she can use her energy to take care of Drew.

Your donations will assist her with her daily living costs, such as rent which is $1875 per month and utilities, and will help ease her stress levels so she can take a few months off to heal and recover.
