My name is Sara and my brother's name is Jr. We are starting this to help our mom, Doreen, who is battling stage 4 Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. It has been a long road to remission, and it doesn't seem to be in sight. A recent scan revealed new areas of concern in the lymph nodes in both her inner lungs and around her heart.

Her oncologist has suspended her immunotherapy treatment until a biopsy is done. It's a very scary time for our family but most of all for our mom. She is in very good spirits and has deep faith in God. She will continue to fight so she can spend time with her grandbabies and watch them grow up.

Cancer has severely impacted her life. She is only 64 years old and can no longer live by herself or work. She has to sell our childhood home and lives with me.
